This little cooler certainly shocked me. It gets warmer than the rest of the house so I thought this would be a great thing to help keep me cool. It is amazing. It is very easy to use, just add ice, water, plug it in and turn it on! Small but mighty!
Nice little gadget for small spaces, RVs, or camping. Its just a a small fan that blows air through a filter, so you shouldnt expect cold air like ACs. Definitely not something you want to help clean your air or help with allergies. I keep my in the kids room as a night lamp and a cooling fan. They love the colors and it helps cool them down on warm days when the AC is off. Its not too cold, the breeze isnt overpowering and the fan is nicely hidden from their little fingers. The water tray is more than enough for a nights use, and with regular cleaning is not a problem. Will work with any USB wall adapter or your standard US socket.
This product works perfectly. It cools down my room quite a bit when it’s on and used with ice water. The lighting is extremely cool, and it’s not too loud. Great product!
I am worried that will leak water, so I try it for few days, I am relieved now, it will not leak water when the ice melts, don't worry ,like a small air conditioner, very good
I've been looking for a compact cooling device to place by my bed so I decided to give this little "swamp cooler" a try since it is affordable and runs on USB power. It is nicely constructed and features a multicolor LED light on the side or no light at all if you wish to turn it off. The cooling works on the principal of Evaporational Cooling. When water evaporates it cools the air. Some call these "swamp coolers". The design is rather simple, a large PC case fan the blows through a "filter" material that absorbs water from the reservoir tank on the side of the unit. As the air blows through the "filter" it evaporates the water and in turn cools the air. The water is replenished from the tank on the side that you refill from the door located on the top. I recommend using distilled water so the "filter" doesn't accumulate mineral buildup. The fan can operates at 3 speeds which the higher the speed the better the cooling but also the more water it uses. I was surprised at how much it cooled the air. I took the air temperature surrounding the unit with my IR thermal gun and the temp was 75F and the air coming out of the cooler was 65F!
Very impressed. I used it in the LLV postal truck, which gets very hot in this Texas weather. I have a few tweaks to make as far as keeping it stable but over all I'm happy with the product and how well it cooled.
I like this because it can provide me with cool air and there is almost no noise. The water tray is more than enough for a nights use, and with regular cleaning is not a problem.
